The
Best and Moist Banana Bread Recipe
Ingredients
3 ugly
bananas (overripe)
Some lemon
juice
2 cups all-purpose
flour
1 tbsp.
cinnamon
Some salt
Baking powder
Baking soda
Some nutmeg
Some black
walnuts
Some melted
softened butter
A little bit
of white sugar
Some brown sugar
Method
This banana bread
is my favorite. It is so good, the inside is so fluffy and moist and dense,
it's easy to make.
we all know
the best banana bread start with really ugly bananas; Uglier the blacker the
batter okay so these bananas have seen better days they are perfect for
blending red; go ahead and peel them up and place them into a bowl
Mash them
with a fork that get them nice and creamy. I don't like big chunks of banana bread
which are caused by unripe bananas or mashing not very well.
Add in some
lemon juice that's some fresh lemon juice and set it aside.
In another
bowl add in your all-purpose flour and throw in some cinnamon, some salt, baking
powder and baking soda.
You can also
add some nutmeg if you want to and sift it.
Then you're
going to whisk on enough to get it combined you got to throw in some black
walnuts.
In a larger
bowl, add some melted softened butter and a little bit of white sugar and then
a nice plop a brown.
All right now
it's going to mix it up and add some cream; you want to cream the sugar and the
butter really well and then we're going to add in those mashed up bananas.
Next we're going
to add in our beaten eggs, some vanilla extract and next we're going to add in
some buttermilk; I love buttermilk and I don't like to use sour cream I love that
buttermilk it makes it so for labor full and rich and I just love it. Go ahead
and mix it up until its well combined, then go ahead and add the flour mixture
into the wet mixture and you're going to stir it slowly gently, and once you
have that flour mix in just drop the spatula and stop it. Stop stirring it
promise me you will not stir it any more once it's mixed in okay promise me I
just do not want you guys they have a dry bread it's awful.
Now I have
grape and flour my loaf pan and I'm going to add my batter right into my loaf pan
make sure you scrape it all out and get it all in there.
Then give it
a little jiggle to free any air inside.
Even
I have my oven preheated to 325 I'm Going to bake it for an hour in 10 minutes,
but of course I over baked it's a little dark I baked it for like an hour and
20 minutes.
Because
it makes it a golden a little crunch to with the inside, fluffy and moist.
