Banana
bread recipe with walnuts
Ingredients
3 ripe mashed
bananas
1/2 cup oil
3/4 sugar
3 eggs
1 3/4 wheat
flour
1 tsp baking
powder
1 tsp baking
soda
1 cinnamon
powder
1/4 nutmeg
(optional)
1/4 cup
walnuts
2 tbsp
chocolate chips
Mash 3 ripe bananas and transfer them to a bowl.
Add to them
1/2 cup oil and whisk.
Add 3/4 cup
sugar and whisk again.
Add 3 eggs,
one at a time and whisk after each one.
Add 1 3/4
Atta or wheat flour.
Add 1 tsp
baking powder, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp cinnamon powder and 1/4 nutmeg
(optional) and sieve.
Cut and fold.
Add 1/4 cup
walnuts and tbsp. chocolate chips.
Grease a pan and dust with flour.
Fill up to half with the batter of banana bread and tap twice.
Add toppings
(walnuts and chocolate chips.
Preheat an
oven and bake at 350 f for 50 : 60 minutes.
Test it with
a toothpick which comes out clean if it completely cooked.
Transfer to
cooling rack.
Cut and serve.
Enjoy so
